HoYoverse's darling new title, Zenless Zone Zero, is an urban fantasy ARPG that introduces players to the world of New Eridu, which rose from the brink of destruction caused by the Hollows. Players take on the role of a Proxy, meet new friends, and embark on a journey with a unique visual flair, vibrant graphics, and a modern, groovy soundtrack unlike any other HoYoverse game.
Zenless Zone Zero has begun recruiting applicants for its Equalizing Test—the equivalent of a closed beta test. If you're interested in trying out the unique experience before everyone else, here are all the requirements to get started.
How to sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero Equalizing Test
Spots for the ZZZ Equalizing Test (closed beta) are limited and distributed via a lottery. There are a lot of ways you can enter, so try to participate in all of them to increase your chances of getting a coveted slot.
Sign-Up Link
First, you can try your luck by filling out the sign-up link on the official recruitment site. Scroll down and click on the SIGN UP NOW button, then answer every question in the survey. HoYoverse has not revealed whether your answers will affect your chances of receiving closed beta access, but at the very least, you must meet the minimum age requirement (16 years old in 2023).
Participate in the Lucky Draw Event
On the same website, scroll down to find the Equalizing Test Sign Up Lucky Draw Event section. Here, you can complete a series of limited-time tasks to increase your number of draws, which, in turn, increases your chances of getting accepted to the closed beta. Click on "Go Now" or "Follow" to easily get to each required section, and don't forget to click "Claim" after completing each task.

Donate Carrots (web event)
Participate in the limited-time web event called A Sandwich Scented Dream to obtain Carrots, which can be donated in the Donate Carrot section for a chance to win closed beta test access, among other rewards.
Fan Art Contest
Phase one of the ZZZ Fan Art Contest runs from November 4, 2023, to November 8, 2023, and offers 50 lucky players a chance to win access to the Equalizing Test (closed beta). Only players who meet the requirements will be selected for reward. Head to the official event page for more information on how to participate.

Zenless Zone Zero Equalizing Test (closed beta) requirements
The ZZZ closed beta requires you to be 16 years old or above to participate. I recommend declaring your age truthfully, as HoYoverse may or may not do an age verification check later down the line.
HoYoverse has also detailed the minimum spec requirements to access the game on various devices. Make sure to check your device for compatibility. If you don't meet the minimum requirement, you might not be able to play Zenless Zone Zero smoothly.

- PC: 10th Gen Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX1660
- iOS: iPhone 11Pro; iPad with A13 chip, 4GB RAM; Mac currently unsupported
- Android: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Dimensity 8200, or Kirin 9000, and 8GB RAM
Minimum Spec Requirements:
- PC: 7th Gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX970
- iOS: iPhone XS; iPad A12, 4GB RAM; Mac currently unsupported
- Android: Snapdragon 888, Dimensity 1200, or Kirin 990, and 8GB RAM

- PC: At least 40GB
- iOS: At least 17GB
