Zelda TOTK – Strongest Weapons in the Game

Plenty of Lynel slayers for Link to pick up.

Getting strong weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is very different predecessor. There's no more looting Hyrule Castle for Royal Claymores or other high-powered weapons. Instead, it's more about fusing the right materials in this game. That being said, there are certain weapons that have properties which allow them to get huge power stats.

How to Build the Strongest Weapons in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

When it comes to weapons in Tears of the Kingdom, it's hard to find anything with higher than 14 Attack power. Certain weapons have requirements, however, that will raise their Attack power if met.

Take, for example, the Zora sword. I attached a Silver Lizalfos Horn to mine, which brings the power of this weapon to 40.

The Zora Sword gets double power if the weapon gets wet. Therefore, I can hop into a lake at any time and get an 80-power weapon.

To get the strongest weapon in the game, head to the western side of Hyrule Castle. There is an extended lip on the western side that connects to Princess Zelda's room.

Beyond Zelda's room (coordinates: -0301, 0986, 0300) is a Royal Guard's Claymore, which will have 20 Attack power at first. The power of this weapon grows if it's about to break.

Players can abuse this mechanic by using the weapon on purpose before going into battle. Once it's about to break, it will get an Attack power of 40. Players can increase this power further by attaching strong monster parts to it.

How to farm the best Monster Parts in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

In general, the better monster parts will come from defeating Silver enemies in the game (Silver Bokoblins, Silver Lizalfos, etc.). But by far the best monster parts come from hunting Lynels. The Silver Lynel Saber Horn gives an Attack power of 55 when fused.

A good way to farm up monster parts quickly is to challenge the Floating Coliseum in The Depths beneath the regular Coliseum by the Great Plateau. Just make sure to cook lots of Sundelions beforehand, as each of these Lynels are infected with Gloom.

Strongest Weapons in TOTK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)

Here are the strongest weapons without fusions:

  • Gloom Club (50 power)
  • Gloom Sword (41 power)
  • Gloom Club (40 power)
  • Boulder Breaker (38 power)
  • Fierce Deity Sword (38 power)
  • Biggoron Sword (36 power)
  • Royal Guard's Claymore (32 power)
  • Scimtar of the Seven (28 power)
  • White Sword of the Sky (24 power)

Any weapon weaker than these are usually base weapons (Royal Claymores, Royal Broadswords, etc.). These weapons will drop from most ordinary enemies in the game. Occasionally, though, they will have an Attack + stat modifier.
