Diamonds are the rarest ore in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and one that I spent a good couple of hours trying to hunt down before realizing there are easier ways to obtain one. Here's where to find Diamonds in Tears of the Kingdom.
How to get Diamonds in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
There are multiple ways to get your hands on Diamonds in TotK: in certain Shrine chests, by purchasing from a vendor, and as a random drop from smashing rocks.
Which rocks contain a Diamond in Tears of the Kingdom?
As you explore caves in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you'll often come across sparkling black rocks. Keep an eye out for ones that sparkle gold because they can sometimes contain a Diamond.
I've got a hot tip for you: save in front of a rock with gold sparkles before you break it. This way, if you smash it and you don't get a Diamond from it, you can reload and try again. I've got many Diamonds by doing this method and taking advantage of the fact the rare mineral is a random drop.
