After defending Gerudo Town from the Gibdo invasion in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players get presented with a very odd puzzle. Link has to light three pillars to unveil the way to the Lightning Temple, and the key to doing this apparently can be seen when standing with his back turned to the Gerudo Throne. Confused? It might take a second to figure out what to do from there, but once players get the idea, it's rather straightforward.
Solution for Standing Back to Back with the Throne Puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
To solve this puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom, Link will need to first get to the Throne Room, which is located about the Gerudo Shelter. Behind the actual throne is a statue of a Sand Seal head; players actually want to get back-to-back with that.
From this perch, players will naturally see the sand storm raging around the Gerudo Desert. Right in front of the sand storm, though, is an extended square platform. This is actually the first of the three pillars that Link needs to light to advance.

Players can walk over there, but I found it much quicker to glide. On top of the Gerudo Throne Room is Soryotanog Shrine. I warped there, jumped up, and glided all the way over to the platform cleanly.
Underneath the platform will be some rubble that players can clear away with a Bomb Arrow. This will expose a huge light beam that shoots at a mirror on the roof, which reflects the light into the sand storm.
The beam of light actually points the way to the second pillar. From that point, we have a whole guide on lighting the pillars. Follow these steps, and the Lightning Temple will open up for you!
