How to find the Ancient Columns cave location in Zelda TOTK (Tears of the Kingdom)

One step closer to cartoon Link.

The Ancient Columns is one of those locations in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that seem incredibly important although there is no temple or cutscene there. Many players may end up here to challenge the Flame Gleeok that rests among the Ancient Columns. Others will certainly be looking for the Ancient Columns Cave that houses a special armor piece.

The Ancient Columns in Tears of the Kingdom can be found on the western side of the Tabinthia Bridge (coordinates; -3457, 0453, 0278). The quickest way to get there is to warp to Makurukis Shrine, which is right by the Tabanthia Frontier Stable. From there, it's a short horse ride across the bridge. The Ancient Columns will be on Link's left after crossing.

In order to actually get inside the Ancient Columns Cave, players will first need to activate a switch on top of one of the columns. I definitely recommend beating the Flame Gleeok first, though. The last time I tried exploring the Ancient Columns, the Flame Gleeok spotted me and I had to fight it without too much food in my bag.

The specific column players need to find is the first tall column looking from the left. This column can be seen here:

Climb to the top of this column to find a circular switch. Stand on top of the switch to activate it.

When this switch is activated, the Ancient Columns Cave will open up. The chest with the Tunic of Awakening is right at the entrance of the cave as well.
