How to blind enemies in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Your enemies can't hit you if they can't see you.

I like to experiment in combat when I play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, though I typically default to the bow. However, one technique that I've found handy is to blind my enemies and not just to run away. While blinding Hinox is obvious, you may be wondering how to blind other enemies in Tears of the Kingdom.

There are two ways to blind enemies in Tears of the Kingdom—you can either use Puffshroom or Dazzlefruit. Both of these can blind your enemies, allowing you to get sneak attacks or escape combat. However, they both have different methods.

Puffshroom will create a cloud of smoke. This makes it impossible for enemies to see Link. You can use the smokescreen to quickly get away or sneak behind your opponents to deliver a sneak strike. Dazzlefruit will blind your enemies temporarily with a bright flash of light. This is a more direct way to blind Link's enemies.
