Who wouldn't want to get Link's iconic weapon back as soon as they can in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom? I wanted to get my hands on it as soon as I could. That's why I chose to prioritize Stamina Vessels over Hearts when turning in my Lights of Blessings that I received from shrines. Here's exactly how much you will need to pull the Master Sword out of its resting place.
How much Stamina you need to pull the Master Sword in TotK (Zelda Tears of the Kingdom)?
Unlike Breath of the Wild, in which you needed a set amount of hearts to pull the Master Sword from its pedestal, you'll need at least one full second wheel of Stamina, or the equivalent of five Stamina Vessels. This means you'll need to obtain at least 20 Lights of Blessing for the vessels, not counting the first four that you gathered during the tutorial.

If you are worried about how much time it will take you to challenge 20 shrines, don't be. For starters, there are 152 shrines all around the map, so the first 20 are only a fraction of what you can find. Due to some other differences between Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild, we think fixing the Master Sword will take you longer in the sequel, more than enough time to stop at 20 or more shrines along the way.
