Best Faction Abilities in XDefiant

5. Aegis- Phantom Future Soldiers - Ultimate Ability

To start the list we have the Aegis ability. Provided by Phantom Future Soldiers, it's a game changer in every mode (especially Escort), as you get a large shield upon activation that can protect yourself and your allies from enemy attacks. Ensure you make a Libertad follow your Phantom to keep healing and cover long distances in a single push. While everything is great, beware of sudden hidden attacks from Deadsec or other faction groups like Echelon, as they can destroy your plans if you keep repeating the tactic.

4. Sonar Goggles - Echelon Super Spies - Ultimate Ability

Sonar Goggles are traditionally designed, but they work amazingly with the gameplay mechanics of XDefiant. Activating them to scan through walls and find hidden enemies then devise a plan to take them down, and/or relay the information to your allies. The only downside is you can only use Sam Fisher's 5.7 Pistol when the ability is activated.

3. El Remedio - Libertad - Active Ability

Though El Remedio is a primary ability, it is highly effective, which is why it ranks higher on the list. Upon activating, the user will throw a small canister at any desired location, and allies standing near the vicinity of the can will receive healing passively. While it may sound like a cliche ability of a support agent, the hook is the effect will remain active even after the player's death. The only way to turn off the ability is by destroying it or turning off the skill by the user, so you only need to find hidden spots and place your canister to receive healing continuously. Make sure to use the ability to win matches in Arena game modes that require a lot of camping and holding.

2. Lockout - Deadsec - Ultimate Ability

Though the Deadsec class type is a bit weak compared to other factions, they have one ability called Lockdown that can be lethal if used properly. Upon triggering, all enemies in the nearby vicinity of the player will lose their HUD, mini-map, and all of their currently active abilities, creating chaos in the enemy camp. If you and your team can profit by killing several players or trapping them using Incinerator drones or bombs, you can secure a round from the ultimate and put them behind. A lot of coordination is required to utilize the ability to its maximum potential, but if you have it, it's extremely powerful.

1. Medico Supermo - Libertad - Ultimate Ability

Currently, the best overall ability in XDefiant is the Medico Supermo. This ultimate ability of a Libertad is so clutch that when activated, it will always tilt the favor of the round toward the player using it.

Once activated, the player will immediately double their current HP and boost their healing numbers; use the newly gained extended HP bar to survive longer and continuously dish out heals to your friends. Try to use the ability in the Escort type game mode, where your team requires a single long push in end times. Also, combine the ability with something like Aegis to scale your aggression.
