Dragonflight has come to World of Warcraft in more than one way. The titular expansion allows players to obtain and ride their very own dragon, drake, wyrm, or wyvern. Better yet, players can also unlock and customize their new scaled friend for that perfect look. Yet, much like everything else in WoW, the option to customize must be unlocked. Here's how to get to tricking out your dragon.
When can you customize your dragon in World of Warcraft Dragonflight?
After learning how to ride their dragon in The Waking Shore, players will be sent to Skytop Observatory to further train with their new mount. Here, players will get the "A Set of New Horns" quest. Players will speak to Glensera, who opens up the first Rostrum of Transformation. Here, players can peruse the various customization options unlocked and apply them to their dragon for no charge.

Dragon customizations are unlocked in various ways, but they all come from Drakewatcher Manuscripts. When used, these items will teach players that particular transformation. These manuscripts can be obtained from side quests, rep grinds, crafting, killing rare spawns, and dungeon runs. There's never been more reason to get invested in an expansion than now, thanks to this aspect alone.
