If you are a movie buff, guessing a movie in a condensed format shouldn't be too difficult for you. But what if it was only one second?
Is Moviedle inspired by Wordle?
Looking at just the title of the game, it's not hard to figure out that Moviedle is inspired directly by Wordle. More specifically, the creators of the game credit both Wordle and Heardle as inspiration to create the movie guessing game. It's inspired by the idea and framework of Wordle, but its more specific feature of seeing short clips per guess comes from Heardle.

How to play Moviedle
Moviedle is really simple to play, especially if you have already played Wordle or Heardle. Players get six chances to guess what movie is being shown that day. Each guess comes with a sped-up version of the film, getting slower and more clear with each guess. Players can either enter a movie as a guess or hit Skip to see more of the movie (while losing a turn). Unlike Heardle, players cannot play the clip over and over (it only plays once).
