With Warframe's Duviri Paradox release, new players are given a choice: to start in the Duviri Paradox or on the traditional Warframe path. Having completed both myself, I can say each start has its own set of advantages. However, there is one that is just simply better than the other in terms of overall value. Keep reading to find whether or not you should start with the Duviri Paradox path or the traditional Warframe one.
Is Duviri Paradox Path or Warframe Path Better?
In terms of rewards associated with the beginning of Warframe, the traditional Warframe path is the stronger choice due to its open-ended nature. While there is a central questline to follow (and I highly recommend following it), you're not held to the flame for not doing it initially. Yes, there are important systems locked behind the Warframe path's beginning, but you still have the option to deviate from the status quo presented to you.
The Warframe path also gives you the advantage of traditional loot drops, including important early-game mods from enemies, which is a bit of a contrast to how loot comes from Duviri Paradox. As such, you're likely to get more out of the traditional path initially.
On the other hand, if you favor a focus on narrative with actual tangible progress, then starting with the Duviri Paradox may be more up your alley. The Duviri Paradox also serves as a tutorial to Warframe's general systems, with more of a focus on the open-map aspect Warframe has evolved over time. You still get to pick between the same starter frames; thus you are not left out of the loop by picking the other beginning.

Can you switch Paths in Warframe once you've chosen one?
You can switch between the Duviri Paradox path and Warframe paths, but you'll need to complete enough of your chosen path to do so. If you start with the Duviri Paradox, you'll need to reach the end of the quest line before you can switch paths. If you begin on the Warframe path, you'll need to first complete the Vor's prize questline before you can make the switch.
Ultimately, no matter your choice, you will end up in the same place as the other eventually. Warframe is designed for you to decide how you want to progress your own Star System. While there are quests that do unlock some seriously important content, they are rarely presented as urgent. Instead, you're given the option to begin them at your own leisure, no matter where you are in the story.
