The Rauta is a super unique shotgun that heavily supports melee-focused playstyles, as landing a shot increases your Melee Combo count, which adds a significant amount of damage to your melee strikes. And because it is Kullervo's signature weapon, it also increases the duration of his Melee Combo. Surprisingly, getting your hands on this thing is not difficult. Here's everything you need to know about how to get the Rauta in Warframe.
Where to get the Rauta (Warframe)
Like with Kullervro himself, there are three different methods you can take, with one being limited time:
- Limited Time Event
- Normal Progression Path
- In-game Store
The first two methods require Kullervo's Bane, which is obtained from defeating Kullervo in Kullervo's Hold. You will need a total of 30 Kullervo's Bane to craft this weapon in your Orbiter's Foundry.
Obtain via Limited Time Event
Upon entering Duviri from the Dormizone, you'll be presented with the usual screen with the addition of the Kullervro's Hold option. This option begins a Lone Story, which always ends with a confrontation with Kullervro, making the farm fairly simplistic. However, keep in mind you have a limited time to farm Kullervro like this. When the timer expires, you'll have to rely on the normal, longer method.
Obtain via Normal Progression Path
The normal progression path functions similarly to the Limited Time Event, except you cannot access Kullervro's Hold directly from the Dormizone. Additionally, Kullervro's Hold will only appear on the map of Duviri during the Anger, Sorrow, and Fear spirals, making the farm that much harder. Finally, you'll need to physically head to Kullervro's Hold during the final stage of your current spiral; speak with the Executioner there to begin combat against Kullervro.
Obtain via In-game Store
Like with almost everything else in Warframe, the Rauta can be purchased directly from the in-game store. The Rauta will cost you 240 Platinum, which can be bought directly from the store, or gained from selling high-value items to other players in the game. I've been through Warframe's song and dance long enough, so I'll be purchasing it from the store to avoid all the extra hassle related to grinding and crafting this gun.
