Valorant Episode 6, Act 1 saw the launch of Lotus, a brand new map based on Indian culture and architecture. It's the second map in the Valorant ecosystem to have three bomb sites aside from Haven. Best Valorant characters for Lotus
- Skye: To kick off the list, we have the Australian healer and flasher, Skye. Like most maps in Valorant, she excels in Lotus as well. This is mainly due to her flash abilities that are so potent in the tight and closed corners of Lotus. Trailblazers can also be executed much more efficiently as the enemies often get confused about their direction due to several closed paths in any section. She is a perfect agent for Lotus, and we highly recommend Skye as your primary initiator.
- Astra: Astra is our pick for filling up the controller quota. She is the only controller agent in the roster pool capable of smoking off at least two bomb sites completely in both attacking and defending scenarios. Apart from smoking off entry points, you can also use her astral stars to pull any advancing enemies in major flanking routes, especially at the new rotating doors. She also contributes heavily to teams with a rotating strategy, as you can often place fake astral points on other bomb sites to confuse enemies while proceeding to attack one.
- KAY/O: KAY/O is the second initiator on the list who can be a menacing agent on Lotus. Since the map has several closed areas, your knife will paralyze one or more enemies when thrown at some central sections. Combined with his manual flashes, you can easily capture any site quickly after starting a round.
- Raze: Raze is a fantastic offensive agent who can guarantee entry to any bomb site in Lotus. After fixing on a target site, use her boom bot to start clearing out any potential enemies at the entrance. If you find any people, throw out paint shells to make them reposition and get an elimination in the process. Apart from her entry prowess, you can also get a guaranteed kill with her Showstopper ultimate every time due to the tight design of the corridors.
- Killjoy: To finish the list, we have the sentinel agent Killjoy. Though she is an off-meta character, Killjoy excels in Lotus from what we have tested. She is excellent at dealing with flanks while attacking by camping at the center of B Site. While defending, you can use her nano swarms and turret to lock down a single site, especially the C site.
