What is the Grand Sea in Tower of Fantasy 2.4 Update?

Grand Sea is the new underwater area introduced in Tower of Fantasy in the Under the Grand Sea update. It consists of three areas:

  • The Island - above the sea level map consists of cliffs and beaches.
  • Innars City - the second large city in Tower of Fantasy after Mirroria, with the difference that it's located under the sea.
  • Dragon Breath Volcano - the deepest corners of the Grand Sea is the most dangerous. Volcanic rocks hide many caves and ridges.

Who are the new Simulacra Lan, Icarus, and Fiona?

Under the Grand Sea 2.4 update of Tower of Fantasy introduced three simulacra you can get if you have your Nuclei ready.

  • Lan - she came from Domain 9 to fight enemies with her mighty umbrella Vermilion Bird, a Flame weapon.
  • Icarus - he's very polite but also quite a rebel when needed. When danger arrives, he turns to his Precious One, a yo-yo-like Frost weapon.
  • Fiona - she's a head of Innars City and also an altered simulacrum which is why her weapon of choice, Moonstar Bracelet dual blades, deal Altered damage.

Who are the World Bosses from the Under the Grand Sea Update in Tower of Fantasy?

Tower of Fantasy Under the Grand Sea update has two world bosses you will face alone or with other Wanderers:

  • Scylla - this Abyssant world boss can switch elemental stats and attack stance, making it a fearsome opponent.
  • Haboela - a Behemoth Abyssant world boss that lives in the volcano and deals flame damage.

What are the new Challenges in Under the Grand Sea Update in Tower of Fantasy?

Below are the new challenges added:

  • Underwater Request Mission
  • Instance for eight players where your goal is to defeat Abyssant Eva boss.

What is the release date for the Under the Grand Sea 2.4 Update of Tower of Fantasy?

The official release date for Under the Grand Sea 2.4 Update is March 30, 2023. Tower of Fantasy is a free-to-play game, and the update will be available for everyone via the official ToF site, Steam, App Store, and Google Play. This update comes after Tower of Fantasy 2.3 Update Wandering Amidst Miasma gave us a peak into the water areas of Aida.
