However, as of now, there is no co-op or multiplayer in Super Robot Wars 30. The turn-based strategy series is filled with cinematic battles and tactical gameplay, making it an ideal game for co-op or multiplayer.

But sadly, not since early Game Boy editions of the game has there consistently been a multiplayer option in a Super Robot Wars game.

That said, the game is most definitely a great game to sit down with your friends and share a controller with for a playthrough. Experiencing the special attacks, the challenging maps, gameplay, and taking in all the anime action is far better with friends.

So while you can’t pick up a pair of controllers and duke it out with your army of Super Robots at the moment, you can definitely enjoy this game with friends. In fact, with its over-the-top anime moments and hot-blooded protagonists, this might be a perfect game to stream when it releases.
