Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has a surprisingly fun multiplayer system. You can team up with up to two friends and play through every mission in the game together. Since Stranger of Paradise has a heavy amount of loot, though, you may be wondering how it's divided up among party memebers.
Playing multiplayer doesn't affect how much loot you get during each mission. In fact, the loot you and your partners get from monsters will be totally different and left up to RNG. Their loot doesn't even show up on your screen, so there's no fighting over who gets what.

Chests work a bit differently. Only one player can open the chest, but the item contained in it will appear on the ground for the rest of the party. It appears that all chest items are the same, so if your friend got a level four Caster Braises, you will as well. To keep things easy, make sure to alert your friends of chests so that they don't miss any items.
