Seven Knights 2, the acclaimed RPG sequel from Netmarble, is about to turn 1. Like any self-respecting, top-tier mobile RPG, it’s celebrating with an in-game event and a massive content update.
Before we tell you exactly what to expect when you rock up at the Seven Knights 2 anniversary celebrations, let’s just remind ourselves what the game is all about. Story-wise, Seven Knights 2 follows the first game’s epic story campaign. You play as Rudy, the last remaining knight and future world savior.
The gameplay includes summoning heroes, assembling them into squads, and roaming the enormous gameworld in search of adventure, loot, and fights—lots and lots of lovely fights, both against other creatures in the single-player mode and other players in PvP.
There’s an absolute ton of heroes to collect in Seven Knights 2, some of them familiar from the previous game and some of them created especially for the sequel. Each one has their own unique set of traits and skills, and you can place up to eight of them in a single squad. This gives you a tremendous number of options when it comes to composing the best possible squads to send into battle. And what battles they are. Seven Knights 2 boasts some truly spectacular skill effects and combat animations, making it one of the most exciting RPGs of the last 12 months.
Speaking of which, let’s take a look at those anniversary celebrations. First up, there are two new heroes to add to your team. One of them is the Legendary+ hero Platin, and the other is the one and only Mythic grade hero, Ace. In case the significance escapes you, Mythic is an entirely new grade, making this a fairly revolutionary update.
But that’s not all. There’s also a new Orb system, which essentially gives bragging rights to high-end players who are eligible to receive a shiny Orb accessory. And there’s a pre-celebratory event, running from November 9 until November 16 (the day of the big update).
In this event, you collect three types of event items. You get the letter “A” when you clear the final stage of a Daily Dungeon, the letter “C” from playing in the Upgrade Dungeon, and lastly, the letter E through Field Exploration.
After the event, the letters “A,” “C,” and “E” can be exchanged for gifts on the day of the Mythic Ace update. Sounds like a square deal to us. To get in on the action, download Seven Knights 2 for free on Google Play or the App Store.
