What is the Silo Race in Splitgate

Collect those disco balls!

Splitgate is an arena shooter that features fast-paced gameplay and a unique portal mechanic. It has many multiplayer game modes that players can participate in but also features a single-player mode called Race. These are typically featured as weekly challenges but are also a great way to learn maps and practice using portals.

One such weekly challenge is to complete the Silo Race. This one can be somewhat confusing as the map is not called Silo, but Club Silo. To get complete the race on Silo, select Play in the bottom left corner and then choose Race. In the Race menu, click the arrows until you find Club Silo and then press start.

In the Silo Race, players need to collect the disco balls that appear throughout the map. The next disco ball location will show up in the player's HUD so that they can better plan their path. The optimal method of collecting the disco balls will require the use of portals and may take more than one attempt.

There is a leader board that shows high scores if players want to chase that. To complete the challenge, the players do not have to achieve a particular score. As long as they collect all the disco balls they will have completed the race on Silo and the weekly challenge.
