Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Movie Trailer revealed at Game Awards

Gotta go fast.

The Game Awards are known for their World Premiere reveals, and the 2021 show has had announcements in droves. One exciting reveal showcased at the annual award show was the debut of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie Trailer.

After the commercial success of the 2020 film, Paramount Pictures revealed a sequel with a Title Announcement trailer on Feb. 10, 2021. Since then, the studio has said little about the upcoming movie, and that changed when the movie's first trailer found an audience at the Game Awards.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2's trailer gives viewers their first look at Miles "Tails" Prower and Knuckles the Echidna in live-action, along with more of the speedy protagonist, Sonic.

Most of the Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) cast returns for the sequel, including Jim Carrey as Doctor Eggman. In this sequel, Ben Schwartz reprises his role as the blue blur, Sonic, while the video-game voice actor for Tails, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, joins the cast to voice this twin-tailed fox. Additionally, Idris Elba will voice Knuckles the Echidna in the feature film.
