How to cure Paralysis in Rune Factory 5

The most annoying status effect ever.

Paralysis is probably one of the worst status effects in Rune Factory. It slows you down significantly, which could prove fatal in a battle. The slowness of your movement is also a waste of time. Paralysis wears off overtime, but it’ll take a very, very long while.

There are quite a few ways to cure Paralysis:

  1. Purchase a Para-Gone from the Rigbarth Clinic.
  2. Cast Mediparalyze. It’s a spell that can be found in the Forest of No Return.
  3. Take a bath in the bathhouse. It cures everything, even HP, RP, and fatigue.
  4. If you get lucky, eating a Mushroom can also cure it. You can find many of them in Phoros Woodlands and Gadeus Grasslands.
  5. Sleep. It will be gone the next day.

In the future, you can also take one of Simone’s vaccines—more specifically the Status Ailment Vacc. It will prevent you from getting status ailments, but at a very steep price. It’s not recommended early in the game. Vaccines can be unlocked by expanding Rigbarth Clinic at Studio Palmo.

To avoid getting K.O.’d while paralyzed, be sure to talk to the SEED ranger into the Silo. The woman will cast an instant heal spell when you’re low on HP once per day. This should give you enough stamina to run away.
