With branded experiences like Gucci Town, Beatland, and Spotify Island all pulling in over ten million visits since their debuts, it's unsurprising that other companies are following suit, with one of the biggest being the multinational retail chain, Walmart. Though a release date has yet to be announced, eagle-eyed Roblox users discovered a Walmart-branded experience titled Walmart Land that was created just a week before this article's publication date, on Sept. 12, 2022. Neither Walmart nor Roblox have yet to comment on this experience, but considering the detail that's been put into the experience's description, it will likely be coming before the end of 2022.
The description mentions that Walmart Land will have two major focuses, Style and Fashion and Entertainment. To promote these two topics, the experience promises to offer a variety of activities for players to participate in, including minigames, obbys, challenges, events, concerts, and more. Besides the virtual concerts, which are said to take place live inside of Walmart Land and feature "popular performers," likely the biggest draw of this experience is the Netflix-themed trivia minigame that's to be hosted by Stranger Things star and internet personality Noah Schnapp.

Though it's unknown exactly why Schnapp was the chosen representative for this event or if it has anything to do with the upcoming season of Stranger Things, the latter theory is rather unlikely. When Walmart hosted its Homecoming concert event in Sept. 2021, Schnapp served as a cohost alongside acting peer Madison Bailey, so it's more than likely that Walmart simply reached out to Schnapp regarding the second hosting gig because of their prior work experience and Schanpp's obvious connection to Netflix and massive audience draw.
It is worth mentioning, however, that Schnapp also has his own connection to Roblox, playing on the platform under the alleged username noahcoolawesome since 2017. In an interview with WIRED in 2019, Schnapp briefly discussed his love for Roblox and gave away his possible Roblox username, despite fellow Stranger Things star Millie Bobbie Brown advising him to keep the information private. It has yet to be confirmed that the username that Schnapp gave is his actual Roblox username, but many players have taken the statement as fact.
Perhaps when the Walmart Land experience is released, this question will be answered definitively. Until then, players are keeping busy by looking out for any Walmart-themed free item leaks or uploads in the Roblox Avatar Shop and scouring Twitter for any official statements regarding the crossover event. When Walmart Land is finally opened to the public, we will update this article or create a new guide on obtaining any/all free items.
