How to Plant Grapes in Islands

Grapes are a great addition to Roblox's Islands aka Skyblock! There a bit different to use, so we're taking a look at exactly what you need to do to plant grapes. You can use grapes to make different food stuff which can now be sold for coins!

How to Plant Grapes

You will first need to create yourself a Trellis! This is a new item that is needed for growing grapes in the game. To build this you will need 30x Birch Wood and 1x Tall Grass. The trees you start out with are just considered generic trees and will give you normal wood. You need to purchase some Birch Saplings to get the Birch Wood. These grow the same way as trees and can be cut with an axe. Once you have your Birch Wood, you will need some Tall Grass. This spawns randomly around your island, so chop it with an axe and collect it! Here's what the Tall Grass looks like:

Now that you have a Trellis, you can place it anywhere on your island. You now need a Grape Seed from the Seed Vendor. It's 3,000 coins, which is quite a bit if you've just started off in the game. Plant the seed into the Trellis and you will eventually get yourself some grapes!

Grapes can be used for baking that now has a purpose in the game! You can bake things and sell them to the new Baker vendor. They will buy things like Grape Jam and a Jam Sandwich for pretty good money. Make yourself a Cooking Table which you can then create Grape Jam with 2x Grapes. You can create a a Jam Sandwich by creating Dough with 3x Wheat and then bake it in a Campfire or a Small Furnace. Once you've got 2x Bread, you can take it back to the Cooking Table and pair with your Grape Jam to create a Jam Sandwich!
