No stranger to breaking the internet, celebrity and business woman Kim Kardashian has made waves online once more, this time within an unlikely community. On April 14, 2022, the premier episode of the Hulu exclusive show The Kardashians made its debut and showcased Kim's six-year-old son, Saint West, finding an advertisement for an explicitly titled Roblox experience that used Kim's face as its icon. This experience referenced Kim's famed adult movie and promised to contain never-before-seen footage from it.
After seeing the ad for herself, Kim took the iPad that Saint was previously playing on and showed it to her sister, Khloe Kardashian, saying "We're suing them if it's a game with my name and picture."
Later in the episode, Kim called ex-husband Ye (Kanye West) in tears to update him on the situation, saying "Thank god he [Saint] can't read yet," referring to the inappropriate title of the experience that Saint found. "Over my dead body is this going to happen to me again."

Since the airing of this episode, a spokesperson for Roblox has reportedly made the following statement (via Polygon):
"The referenced video was never available on our platform—we have strict moderation and policies to protect our community, including zero tolerance for sexual content of any kind which violates our Community Rules. The text reference to the tape that got around our filters was quickly taken down and fortunately visible only to an extremely small number of people on the platform. We also swiftly took down the associated experience and banned the community developer involved with the incident."

As mentioned in this statement, the developer behind this experience has since been banned from the platform entirely and the experience in question has been removed. Whether or not Kim will follow through with her threat to sue Roblox is still unknown at the time of this article's publication, though given the importance that Kim places on protecting her children and standing up for herself and her family, a lawsuit from the reality star wouldn't be surprising.
Kim ended the episode by stating that she has "all the time, all the money, and all of the resources to burn them all to the ground," which doesn't favor in Roblox's odds. Luckily for Roblox, however, they are a multi-million dollar company with their own resources, meaning that a lawsuit from the Kardashian family does not necessarily signify the beginning of their end.
This isn't the first time that the platform has been sued, after all, as a massive lawsuit took place just last year in 2021. In this lawsuit, over 10 music companies sued Roblox for copyright due to the millions of unlicensed songs that were being uploaded to its platform on a daily basis. To protect themself from any related lawsuits in the future, Roblox privated millions of pre-existing, user-created audios on the platform and created a feature that automatically privates all newly-created, non-Roblox audios going forward.
If Kim Kardashian does decide to sue Roblox, it'll likely change the way in which the platform operates and oversees certain features, including their TOS and automated filtering systems. Both have been scrutinized in the past for neglecting to catch inappropriate content, such as the NSFW content that was repeatedly perpetuated within the popular experience Meep City, but it's unlikely that it'll lead to an entire shutdown.
If more information is released regarding this situation, we will update this article accordingly.
