From Insect to Thunder, each breathing style in Project Slayers offers its own unique buffs, abilities, and move sets—some more helpful than others. In the guide below we'll be detailing each breathing style and explaining exactly how you can obtain it.
How to unlock all breathing styles in Project Slayers
Insect Breathing
Prerequisits:
- Must be at least level 12
- Must have at least 5,000 Wen
Insect Breathing trainer location and info:
- The Insect Breathing trainer, Shinobu, is located at Butterfly Mansion
Insect Breathing quests:
The following quests will be given to you by Shinobu and must be completed before she will teach you her breathing style:
- Insect Target training: Participate in a brief target training exercise by clicking on various small targets before they disappear
- Insect Lungs training: Train your lungs by completing a meditating-based minigame that requires you to click your mouse at specific times
- Insect Boulder training: Find and pull a designated boulder from one area to another
- Insect Cup game: Participate in a QTE minigame that requires you to press a sequence of letters on your keyboard as fast as possible
- Defeat Insect Trainee: Defeat the Shiron enemy

Water Breathing
Prerequisits:
- Must be at least level 12
- Must have at least 5,000 Wen
Water Breathing trainer location and info:
- The Water Breathing trainer, Sakonji Urokodaki, is located behind the entrance of the Waroru Waterfall Cave
Insect Breathing quests:
The following quests will be given to you by Sakonji Urokodaki and must be completed before he will teach you his breathing style:
- Split a boulder: Use your sword to split a boulder by completing a QTE minigame
- Find three glowy rocks in the river: Dive into the river and collect three blue rocks
- Pull a boulder: Find and pull a designated boulder from one area to another
- Lung training quest: Train your lungs by completing a meditating-based minigame that requires you to click your mouse at specific times
- Defeat Sabito: Defeat the Sabito enemy

Wind Breathing trainer location and info:
- The Wind Breathing trainer, Jinger, is located at Jinger's Home near Kabuwaru Village
Wind Breathing quests:
The following quests will be given to you by Jinger and must be completed before he will teach you his breathing style:
- Pull heavy boulder: Find and pull a designated boulder from one area to another
- Train accuracy for wind: Participate in a brief target training exercise by clicking on various small targets before they disappear
- Better your sword grip: Perform pushups at Butterfly Mansion by completing a QTE minigame
- Strengthen upper body: Use your sword to split a boulder by completing another QTE minigame
- Defeat Wind Trainee: Defeat the Senemi enemy

Thunder Breathing
Prerequisits:

Thunder Breathing trainer location and info:
- The Insect Breathing trainer, Jigoro Kuwajima, is located at the entrance of the building on Zapiwara Mountain
Thunder Breathing quests:
The following quests will be given to you by Jigoro Kuwajima and must be completed before he will teach you his breathing style:
- Increase aim for Butterfly Style: Participate in a brief target training exercise by clicking on various objects as quickly as possible they appear
- Meditate & lung training quest: Train your lungs by completing a meditating-based minigame that requires you to click your mouse at specific times
- Push-Up Training: Press a sequence of buttons to complete pushups
- Dodge Thunder: Dodge thunder bolts that fall from the sky by diving at the correct time
- Defeat Zanegutsu Kuuchie: Defeat the Zanegustu Kuuchie boss
