Coins are a big part of Murder Mystery 2 (MM2), as they can be used to purchase various items and emotes from the in-game Shop, so it's important to know how to make the most of your coin collecting time! Though there's no direct way to auto-farm coins, there are a few supplemental options. For a quick guide on the best ways to maximize your coin intake, continue reading below.
Find small lobbies
The best way to collect coins in MM2 is by joining an empty or nearly empty game server. By doing this you will have an elongated opportunity to collect coins, as your teammates, or enemies, will likely be AFK or simply ignoring the objective. This method is also the most time-consuming, however, as you'll likely need to click through hundreds of servers before you find one that's relatively empty.
To search through servers, head to the game's main page on the Roblox website, click on the Servers menu, and scroll. You may need to click Load More every once in a while to continue through your hunt.
Purchase the Elite gamepass
The Elite gamepass allows players to collect a larger number of coins before filling their coin bag to its capacity. This gamepass does cost 499 Robux to use, however, if your current bag fills up quickly then it could be worth the money. It seems though that the standard coin bag consistently receives buffs as to how many coins it can carry, so be sure to check yours before purchasing Elite.
Focus on coins
This may seem like a no-brainer, but it's still important to mention. The best way to collect coins in a normal lobby is by separating yourself from others and exploring the map. There are many rooms that players don't think to visit—this is your chance to collect the coins that they've missed!
If you spawn into MM2 and are designated with the Murderer role, don't kill anyone! While the other players are busy hiding from a murderer that they don't know is you, you can take your time and explore for coins.
Play with friends
Teaming up in any battle royale style game is often frowned upon as it can create a boring player experience for others in the game, and the same goes for MM2, however, there's no rule against playing with your friends. So long as you are playing fairly and as intended, there's no issue with you and your friends teaming up to find and collect as many coins as possible!
