Still riding on the success of their Halloween-themed BOOrito event, Chipotle is stepping into the Roblox Metaverse yet again to offer even more freebies, including avatar accessories, food codes, and more. As announced in a tweet posted by the official Chipotle Twitter account, Chipotle will be celebrating National Burrito Day, April 7, by giving away free burrito codes inside of their soon-to-be-revamped Roblox experience—Chipotle on Roblox. In order to earn one of these codes, players over the age of 13 in the US and Canada will need to be one of the first 100,00 people to participate in the newly created Burrito Builder minigame and earn 100 Burrito Bucks.
Once a player has earned 100 Burrito Bucks, which can be done by rolling just one burrito, they can speak to a Chipotle Crew Member inside of the experience and exchange these bucks for a unique, one-time-use code. This code can then be redeemed online or in the Chipotle app for a free burrito or other regular entrée item, including a burrito bowl, quesadilla, single order of tacos, or salad. If you're not one of the first 100,000 people to complete this task, you will not be eligible to receive a free code. This promotional event goes live at 5:30pm CT on April 7, 2022.

Beyond this standard promotion, which we also saw implemented last year during the BOOrito event, Chipotle has added another, less discussed promotion that rewards five players with free Chipotle burritos for an entire year. Once the Chipotle on Roblox event goes live on April 7, there will be a daily competition to see which player can correctly roll the highest number of burritos in the Burrito Builder minigame without messing up an order. At the end of this promotion, on April 13, 2022 at 1:59am CT, the five players who won the competition each day will receive gift cards from Chipotle equivalent to 52 burritos or regular entrées—enough to eat one free burrito or entrée a week for an entire year.
For those disinterested in participating in the Roblox experience, or those who don't have the time, Chipotle will also be doing standard giveaways on their official @ChipotleTweets Twitter account sometime between April 7, 2022, and April 13, 2022. Though the likely assumption is that these giveaways will take place on April 7, National Burrito Day, no official date has been listed yet. All that's known at the moment is that giveaways will occur at the following times and that 20 people will receive 10,000 Robux each during each giveaway, meaning 100 winners will be announced in total:
- Giveaway One - 1:00pm CT - 20 Winners
- Giveaway Two - 2:00pm CT - 20 Winners
- Giveaway Three - 3:00pm CT - 20 Winners
- Giveaway Four - 4:00pm CT - 20 Winners
- Giveaway Five - 5:00pm CT - 20 Winners

As mentioned in the first graph of this article, Chipotle has also promised free avatar items for those who participate in this event, though details surrounding these items are extremely limited at the time of this article's publication. Through reading Chipotle's terms and conditions, it's to be expected that these items will need to be purchased with Burrito Bucks, meaning that players looking to unlock them will likely need to play the Burrito Builder minigame. It's also unknown if these items will be available to wear outside of the experience or if they will remain in-game avatar accessories only.
