To preload Resident Evil Village you must first purchase the game on your chosen platform. You should be able to download the game almost immediately when preloading becomes available for your platform.

On Steam, you will need to find the game in your library and then hit download when a button unlocks - it will also change the button to preload occasionally.

For consoles, the system will most likely do all the work and download the game automatically so you won't need to worry about missing out on preloading.

That being said, when it finishes downloading, you will be able to enjoy the game on May 7th, this Friday. However, if you can't wait to play the game, you can always try the free demo the developers released a while back.
