How to activate the Hewdas Clocktower in Remnant 2

Time waits, but can you survive?

While Remnant 2 is packed full of action and horror, there are some puzzle sections to be found as well. I am constantly left with questions as I explore, and one that had me stumped was the Hewdas Clock Tower. Reading the notes about how it stopped time had me desperate to solve this puzzle and restore the clock tower to its full glory.

Where is the Hewdas Clocktower in Remnant 2?

The Ironborough Clock Tower, also called the Hewdas Clocktower, is found in the Losomn area at the center of Ironborough. You can reach the top of the clock tower by climbing the outside. Beware, as there are numerous enemies.

Once you reach the top, you will notice that there is a missing gear, and you cannot start the clock tower. A missing piece is required to start the clock. That means you need to continue exploring. Before you do, flip the power and call the elevator to make getting to the top easier.

Note: Check what time is shown on the outside of the clocktower before leaving.

Where to get the Clockwork Pinion in Remnant 2

I found the Clockwork Pinion in the Lemark District. I went to the end of this area and found a house full of clocks. There is a note that details the Clockwork Pinion was hidden in the house clock. However, you need to open the clock to get the missing gear. All you have to do is match the time on the house clock to the time on the clock tower and then open the clock. I've included the image below to show the time needed to be entered.

The reward for solving the Hewdas Clocktower puzzle is the Broken Timepiece item. On its own, it does nothing, but you can take it to McCabe and have it repaired. This will give you the Time Lapse Weapon Mod. You will need five Lumenite Crystal and 650 Scrap in addition to the Broken Timepiece. Be sure to check out our guide on the Morrow Parish safe as well.
