How to fix a laceration in Project Zomboid?

Here's how to fix lacerations!

To fix a laceration, you will need to bandage the wound. You can bandage lacerations by using a bandage in the game. When you have a bandage, click the heart icon on the left of your screen.

Doing so will make a health screen like the one above appear. In this health screen, you will see in red letters "laceration" on the part of your body that is injured.

Right-click on the wound, and you will be presented with the option to bandage your wound. Doing so will then stop the wound from bleeding, effectively fixing it for a time. But keep an eye on the laceration as it will eventually become dirty.

When the bandage becomes dirty, your health in the game will start to drop down again. All you need to do is remove the bandage and reapply a clean one if this happens.

You should also use alcohol rubs or bottles of disinfectant occasionally to clean the wound and help prevent infection. This will help prevent you from gaining the zombie virus and other infections.

Where to find bandages in Project Zomboid

To find bandages in Project Zomboid, you will need to search medical cabinets in bathrooms, hospitals, clinics, and medical storage areas.

It's straightforward to find bandages in the game, but there is an excellent alternative if you don't have access to such places. In short, you can simply rip certain clothing items such as skirts into ripped sheets.

You can then use these ripped sheets to bandage various wounds in the game. However, if you want the best chances of healing, it's better to go with an actual bandage.
