Pokemon Sleep Tier List (December 2023)

Gotta nap 'em all.

With over 100 Pokémon to choose from in Pokémon Sleep, choosing which ones to invest precious resources in can be tough. When I first got started, I was surprised at how costly it is to evolve just one of my Pokémon, much less all of them! After a lot of experimenting, I've determined which Pokémon are worth the effort. Here's a full tier list for all Helper Pokémon currently available in Pokémon Sleep.

Best Helper Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep

Raichu

Raichu is by far the best Helper Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep. You're guaranteed to get its pre-evolution, Pikachu, as soon as you start the game. It also produces a lot of berries, so it will power up your Snorlax much faster than other Helper Pokémon.

Gengar

Gengar is a close second to Raichu, due to its lower availability. However, it has the highest Frequency stat in the game, meaning it will max out its berry and ingredient count very fast. Its ingredients are also on the rarer side, allowing you to unlock new recipes.

Charizard

Like Gengar, Charizard gathers berries and ingredients incredibly fast. Leppa Berries, which it produces, are somewhat rare. As a diehard Bulbasaur fan, I have to admit—Charizard is definitely the best starter evolution in Pokémon Sleep.

Typhlosion

Typhlosion is very similar to Charizard, as it produces the same berry and two of the same ingredients. Its only downfall is its slower Frequency, making it a slightly worse investment overall. Even so, Typhlosion isn't one to pass up.

Flareon

Flareon's main skill, Cooking Power-Up S, is extremely powerful; it temporarily increases the number of ingredients you can use while cooking. Flareon also benefits from its high Frequency and valuable ingredients. Once you hit the late-game, Flareon becomes the best Eeveelution to have in your party.

Wigglytuff

Wigglytuff is similar to Flareon, in that its placement has to do with its main skill. In Wigglytuff's case, this skill is Energy for Everyone S, which restores a large amount of energy to your entire party. This keeps your Pokémon active and healthy, even if you didn't record much sleep the night before.

Ampharos

Ampharos boasts a high Frequency stat and valuable ingredients. Its main skill is Charge Strength M; it increases Snorlax's strength, which definitely doesn't hurt. Although Raichu outclasses it, having both on your party will power up your Snorlax in no time.

Espeon

Espeon has a high Frequency stat and produces the elusive Mago berry. It's edged out by Ampharos, but if you don't have a Mareep or Flaaffy, getting Espeon is a worthy use of your Eevee Candies.

Sylveon

Sylveon is a slightly worse Wigglytuff, as it suffers from being a second evolution—which means its main skill is weaker. However, it makes up for this with a higher Frequency stat. If you don't have a Jigglypuff to evolve, then Sylveon can get the same job done without issue.
