How to reach the end of the Solaceon Ruins in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

What are all these weird letters?

The Solaceon Ruins is a small cave east of Solaceon Town. It can be reached by hopping down the right-most ledges of the area. If you’re looking for Unowns for the Ruin Maniac quest, you’ll find them here.

Once you enter the cave, you’ll be met with a gigantic wall with letters made out of Unowns inscribed onto it. The text actually provides directions on how to get to the Ruin’s bottom floor. What’s written is the following:

  • Top right
  • Lower left
  • Top right
  • Top left
  • Top left
  • Lower left

At the very bottom of the Ruins, you’ll find four items: a rare candy, an odd incense, a mind plate, and a nugget. There will also be another inscription that says, “Friendship: all lives touch other lives to create something anew and alive.”

Hidden items in the Solaceon Ruins

But these four items aren’t the only ones that can be found in the ruins. By purposely taking a couple of wrong turns, you can find the following items hidden in the rocks:

  • Repel: first room, top-left stairwell
  • Escape Rope: third room (the one with the explorer on it), lower-left stairwell
  • Big Mushroom: fifth room, lower-right stairwell
