Similar to the recent Marill event, the Community Day in June will have a massively increased spawn rate for Gible. However, it will not just increase the spawn rate, but also increase the chances of Gible being shiny. This means that the best way to get a shiny Gible is to play Pokémon Go on June 6, 2021, from 11am to 5pm local time.

As of now, Gibles have less than a one percent chance to be shiny, making them one of the rarest shiny Pokémon in the game. If it follows the pattern of past Community Day's the chance for a Gible to be shiny will increase to four percent. This means that if you catch 25 Gibles during the event, it's almost certain that one of them will be shiny.

You can still get a shiny Gible if you miss the event, but it is much more difficult. Currently, Gibles can only be obtained by hatching 10km eggs. This is more or less luck of the draw, though. Gibles don't always hatch from 10km eggs, and the chance of hatching a Gible that is also shiny is astronomically low.

That's all there is to know about getting a shiny Gible! Be sure not to miss your chance on June 6!
