Pokémon Go has started its latest in-game event with the start of the Season of Alola event. This event is coming in multiple stages, but initially features Tapu Koko and Rockruff as the two new raid Pokémon. Tapu Koko's shiny form is not available, but Rockruff's is able to be encountered after a successful raid battle. Aside from these two new Pokémon, there are many creatures for players to catch during the next month.

- Mega Charizard Y (Available March 22 to April 5)

- Tapu Koko (Available March 1 to 15)

- Unannounced Legendary (Available March 22 to April 5)
3-Star Raids
- Wigglytuff
- Nidoqueen
- Alolan Graveler
- Alolan Raichu
1-Star Raids
- Snubbull
- Rockruff
- Phanpy
- Electrike
- Bellsprout
With all of these Pokémon in the raid rotation this month, players have plenty of opportunities to catch a rare shiny Pokémon. While Tapu Koko's shiny form is not available currently, there will be another five-star raid Pokémon coming on March 22 and this Pokémon may have a shiny form available.
