This Pokémon is the salt of the earth.

The Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is massive and home to numerous types of Pokémon. Many of these will be familiar to players, but new Pokémon have also been added. Some may be harder to find than others, including Garganacl, which may leave you wondering where to find Garganacl in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Garganacl is a rare Pokémon in the wild; therefore, you are better off catching a Nacli and evolving it. However, you can encounter Garganacl in the caves of Area Zero after completing the game. But we recommend catching its pre-evolution as this can be done fairly early on.

Nacli can be found throughout Paldea, except for the northern areas. We found ours in the South Province, Area 1. As you can encounter this Pokémon early on, you can catch it at a low level and train it up to a Garganacl.

How to evolve Nacli and Naclstack in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Nacli will evolve into Naclstack at level 24 in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. After that, you will need to raise your Naclstack to level 38 for it to evolve into Garganacl. As a three-stage evolution Pokémon, it will become stronger each time it evolves. With a final evolution at level 38, it may fall off in the low and mid-30s, but it will pick back up once it reaches its final evolution.

Garganacl is a powerhouse of a Pokémon, with its amazing defensive stats and Rock-type giving it excellent resistances. Additionally, it has very high HP and Attack, meaning it can withstand a hit and strike back just as hard. It does suffer from a low Speed and Special Attack, so do not prioritize these stats and use a nature that increases its Attack, Defense, or Special Defense.
