While it is an open-world game, in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there is technically an order in which you should take on certain challenges. This is because the Pokémon you face in Gym Challenges and Team Star Bases do not scale with your Pokémon's own level. Of course, you don't have to, but challenging Team Star Bases in order of level difficulty would make your journey a bit easier. Here are our recommendations for the best order to take on the Team Star Bases.
Which Team Star Base is easiest in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
This is a handy table to help you decide which Team Star Base you should take on first in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet:
Team Star Base Type | Leader | Recommended Level | Location |
---|---|---|---|
Dark Crew | Giacomo | Level 20 | West Province (Area One) |
Fire Crew | Mela | Level 26 | East Province (Area One) |
Poison Crew | Atticus | Level 32 | East Province (Area Three) |
Fairy Crew | Ortega | Level 50 | North Province (Area Three) |
Fighting Crew | Eri | Level 56 | North Province (Area Two) |
There are a few big gaps in level recommendations between some of the Team Star Bases, like the Poison Crew and the Fairy Crew. Don't be afraid to take a break, explore in a different direction, hunt for a Titan Pokémon, or challenge a Gym Leader.
