How to get Leaf Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Tricky to find.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, like its predecessors, has particular Pokémon that will only evolve when given an elemental stone to hold. For example, Eevee's evolution, Leafeon, which requires a Leaf Stone to evolve. Shiftry, one of the best Pokemon you can get from The Teal Mask DLC, also needs a Leaf Stone to get (it evolves using it from a Nuzfleaf). If you need help finding a Leaf Stone, we've got you covered.

Leaf stones can be found in two places in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. The easiest place to find one is at any Delibird Presents location. There are found in most cities around Paldea, and there are even two in Mesagoza. You need to have challenged and defeated a few gym leaders for this item to be available. Once you have, Leaf Stones can be found by asking to purchase General goods. They cost either 3,000 cash or LP to purchase.

If you want a couple for free, you could look around the Tagtree Thicket near Atticus, the leader of the Poison-type Team Star Base. We found ours by investigating a small, yellow glimmer on the ground. This was after at least 15 minutes of searching around the Tagtree Thicket for items. So, honestly, we don't really recommend spending so much time searching for it since it can be purchased so cheaply. Still, know that there's an option to purposefully look for a Leaf Stone in forest-y areas like it.
