Pokémon Scarlet and Violet take place in the Paldea region, the first truly open world in the Pokémon series. This provides ample activities to complete and Pokémon to catch. However, the post-game content will keep diehard fans coming back, especially to Hyper Train their Pokémon for Tera Raids and competitive. One item that will help with this is Gold Bottle Caps, which may leave you wondering how to get Gold Bottle Caps in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to get Gold Bottle Caps in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
There are only two ways to get Gold Bottle Caps in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You can either earn them as a reward from the Ace Academy Tournament or purchase them at the auction house in Porto Marinada. Both of these methods rely on luck, as you are not guaranteed to get them from the Ace Academy Tournament, nor are they guaranteed to be up for auction at Porto Marinada.

Gold Bottle Caps are even more rare than regular Bottle Caps, so you will likely need to grind through the Ace Academy Tournament several times before you get one. Likewise, they don't appear too frequently at the auction house, and when they do, they will be absurdly expensive. So you will need to bring a lot of Poké Dollars to buy them.
Despite this, Gold Bottle Caps are well worth it, as they raise all IVs of a Pokémon. Regular Bottle Caps will only raise a single IV, so these rarer Bottle Caps will greatly improve the rate at which you train your Pokémon's IVs.
