Klawf has a great design, particularly its suspicious-looking eyes, as seen in the trailer when the Titan Klawf turns on the player and Arven. It also sports some comical blushing and poofy hair that adds to its humourous appearance.

Klawf has a unique ability introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet called Anger Shell. This ability triggers when Klawf's health, lowering its Defense and Special Defense while increasing its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed. This makes Klawf a formidable wall that can switch to a sweeper quickly.
