Sylveon is a pure Fairy-type Pokémon first introduced in X & Y. It evolves from Eevee when the Pokémon becomes friendly with its trainers and has learned at least one Fairy-type move. Sylveon may look cute, but its battle prowess certainly isn’t. Plus, with the right Nature, Sylveon is a good Pokémon to take with you to Scarlet & Violet’s competitive scene.
What is the best Nature for Sylveon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
The best Nature for Sylveon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is:
- Modest (+Sp. Attack, -Attack)
- Calm (+Sp. Defense, -Attack)
Sylveon’s highest base stat is Sp. Defense. However, its Sp. Attack is not too far behind this number, making either Modest or Calm the best Nature for it.
For PvP, however, we prefer Calm. As long as you throw Sylveon against a special attacker like Charizard, it will survive every attack and deal devastating damage in return. It can even be used as a support mon in doubles. It has the moveset and defensive prowess to protect your team.
However, if you’re using Sylveon purely for Raids, always go for a Modest Nature. You want to increase its damage output as much as you can.

How to choose the best Nature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
One of the easiest ways to determine the best Nature for any Pokémon is to take a look at its highest stats. Be sure to amplify that and sacrifice a stat it doesn’t need. For example, Sylveon’s Attack isn’t that great, so it’s okay to sacrifice its growth.
