Version exclusives are a longstanding tradition in the Pokémon series, encouraging cooperation and trading between players. The Indigo Disk DLC for Scarlet and Violet is no exception, as multiple version exclusive Pokémon have been added to the game for trainers to hunt down.
All Indigo Disk version exclusives in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
"Version exclusive" refers to any Pokémon that can only be obtained in one of two games in any given generation. For example, Larvitar and its evolutions can be found as wild encounters in Pokémon Scarlet, but not Violet. Conversely, Pokémon Violet has the Bagon evolution line, while Scarlet does not. In order to get these version exclusive Pokémon, you'll have to trade for them with another player who owns the opposite game.
The Indigo Disk introduced two Alolan forms to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, one for each version. Both games also received a fossil Pokémon and two new Paradox Pokémon each—as always, Scarlet has ancient forms while Violet has future forms. Below, you'll find a list of all version-exclusive Pokémon in the Indigo Disk DLC.
