Daybreak is a smaller content update that focuses on investigating the cause of Mass Outbreaks. The official screenshots show an Outbreak of all Alpha Pokémon, giving players a huge new challenge to deal with.

In addition, new battles with Legendary Pokémon and the game's Wardens are also being added. This includes the ability to test yourself against Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia.
