In Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, players have the option to respec. But respecing is not called that in Pathfinder; it is instead called retrain but still serves the same role.
In short, if you are ever unhappy with a current character or companion, you can go to a certain NPC and have them respec or retrain you.
What retraining does is reset all stats, abilities, and skills and allows you to recreate your character and choose a new class and skills, and so on.

If you want to respec in Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, you will need to play until you reach the Inn called Defender's Heart and speak to a certain NPC character.
The character is called Hildor and can be seen in our feature image above. Hildor is a Pathfinder but is also the game's version of the respec NPC from Pathfinder Kingmaker. Speak to Hildor and choose the option that says, "my companions and I need good training."
This option will in turn open up the retrain menu where you can choose a character to respec. The first respec is free, but all other respecs will cost gold afterward, because of this it's recommended to pick a character and to be sure you want to change them, as you will not get another free respec.
