Animal companions and mounts are animals that players can get when they choose a specific class. If a player chooses a certain class, they will choose from a variety of animal companions in the game.

If an animal companion reaches a certain level, it can also be used as a mount. That said, players can get the following animal companions in the game.

  • Bear
  • Black Horse
  • Horse
  • Blue Triceratops
  • Boar
  • Giant Centipede
  • Elk
  • Dog
  • Leopard
  • Mastodon
  • Monitor
  • Lizard
  • Smilodon
  • Triceratops
  • Velociraptor
  • Wolf

These animal companions can be leveled up to obtain special skills that can help them perform better in battle and unlock new attack abilities. These animal companions also come with their own classes that can be chosen for similar things as player classes.

However, animal companions and mounts differ widely from familiars in the game. Familiars are more akin to special items players can get, as they can be equipped in the player's potion belt to gain special bonuses for skill checks and more.

They will also only appear if the player activates them, and the player must obtain them either through shops or finding them as loot in the game world.
