Pokémon can evolve in new ways, according to Pokémon Legends: Arceus leaks

A new Pokémon appears.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is just around the corner. The highly-anticipated release from Nintendo and Game Freak promises a new direction for the Pokémon franchise, placing players in the ancient Hisui region. Here, players will find new regional variants and Pokémon with unique evolution conditions. Qwilfish appeared in the game's leaks, looking at a brand new evolution.

Users who secured early copies of Pokémon Legends: Arceus have finally learned how to evolve several Pokémon, like Qwilfish. Players will have to use Barb Barrage in Strong Style 20 times in a battle to get the new evolution. Strong style is one of the latest attack types players can choose from, along with the Agile Style. You can see the leak below:

Qwilfish is just one of the Pokémon to receive a new evolution in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, with Ursaring and Sneasel getting new forms.
