How to check MTG Arena Server Status
There is currently only one way to check the server status of MTG Arena, and that is via the official website of the game. On this page, you can view scheduled maintenance times, as well as past server downtime. Use the following link to reach the server status page: MTG Arena Status.
When you visit the web page, you'll see the status of all the platforms associated with the game. The ones that might interfere with the game's features are Games, Logins, Matches, and Store. If the status for any of these are shown to be not functional, you may have a problem accessing the game.
What is MTG Arena?
MTG Arena is a digital adaptation of the classic Magic: The Gathering trading card game. This game allows you to build decks without financial investment, testing out card synergies before you buy a physical copy. In MTG Arena, two players go head-to-head in battle, armed with their chosen deck. Each player starts out with 20 health and seven cards in their hand. Through expanding land cards, players can put powerful creatures onto the battlefield and gain the advantage in combat. However, spell cards can easily turn the tides of battle, so both participants must be wary of their opponent's cards.
One of the best aspects of MTG Arena is the visual and sound effects associated with cards. When you place a Swamp card, you hear the chirping of crickets in a musty bog, rather than placing it silently onto a physical table. This cranks the immersion up to 11, with werewolves that mournfully howl and spiders that hiss. MTG Arena truly brings the game to life, making it a great first step for potential Magic: The Gathering players.

Common issues in MTG Arena
MTG Arena is known to be buggy at times, with issues like infinite queue times and random crashes. Thankfully, these bugs have tried and true fixes. If you are queueing for an online game of MTG Arena, and the queue timer is at two minutes or higher, try pressing Cancel and starting the queue again. However, the application sometimes refuses to let you cancel queue, resulting in a crash. If this occurs, close down MTG Arena and start it up once more.
MTG Arena also has a long-running bug when you use the "search" feature in your card collection. If you attempt to search for a specific card, the application becomes unresponsive, but don't worry. Although it seems like the game will crash, it simply takes a while to search. If you wait it out, the search should succeed.
