Mortal Kombat 11 contains a mixture of returning favorites and some new blood. Though essential characters like Scorpion and Johnny Cage are still part of the roster, newer characters like Cassie Cage and Cetrion are also part of the playable roster. With such a vast selection of characters, are they all available to players as soon as they start the game?
How to unlock all characters in Mortal Kombat 11
When the game launched in 2019, there were only 25 characters available. Fortunately, 23 characters were part of the default roster that players could select from the start. Players would need to complete Chapter 4 in Story mode to unlock the fighter Frost. Shao Kahn was a pre-order bonus for early purchasers of the game, but he is now a DLC fighter who costs $5.99.
