MLB The Show 23 Road to the Show lets you compete for a spot on an MLB team using your own created player. In Road to the Show, you have the freedom to pick your position, whether it be a pitcher, fielder, or even a two-way player. You can also fully customize your ballplayer by using the MLB The Show 23 face scan. Here is how to face scan in MLB The Show 23.
The first step to scanning your face into the game is to download the MLB The Show Companion App, which is available on the Google Play Store or the App Store for iPhones. After downloading the app, you will link your MLB The Show Companion App with the console you will be playing on. You will also have to select MLB The Show 23 when signing in to access the face scan.

How to access Face Scan in the MLB The Show Companion App
After signing in to the MLB The Show Companion App, select the 23 icon in the bottom right of the screen. Then, select Face Scan at the top of the screen. Take your picture, upload it, then switch over to your Road to the Show mode on your console. When creating your player, your first option will be to select your face scan. If you are not happy with your face scan, you can repeat the process as many times as you want.
The MLB The Show Companion App may take a little time to upload the image, so you may not be able to access it in-game instantly, but it should show up shortly after uploading. If your face scan is not appearing in-game, restart your game and make sure your account is the same one that is linked in the app.
