Minecraft 1.20 Diamond Seeds – Best Diamond Seeds for Java and Bedrock! (December 2023)

Diamonds are one of the most important materials in Minecraft when it comes to making gear, so it's a given that you'd want to find as many as possible as soon as you can.

This list contains the best Minecraft Diamond seeds I've found for both Java and Bedrock 1.20. It features large diamond quantities as well as beautiful scenery for those who want to make a base and strip mine.

Best Minecraft 1.20 Java Diamond Seeds

Get ready to flex your diamond riches and throw them at your friends all day with these spectacular seeds.

Dripstone Diamonds

Seed: -8220728382719418087

Dripstone isn't the only drip you'll find in this cave! It's jam-packed with Diamonds and other ores. Taking just a short trip into the cave will give you over 50 Diamonds right off the bat. You could get 200 or even more with a Fortune III Pickaxe. From Diamond tools to a complete set of Diamond Armor, you can have it all after one trip into the cave.

Treasures Beyond the Mineshaft

Seed: 5471276756006928703

The land near Spawn contains Plains, Sparse Jungle, and Savannah biomes, with a Pillager Outpost guarding the Savannah. There are a few ravines in the ground, but entering this one will lead you to a mine shaft. If you head beneath the mine shaft, you'll come to a Deepslate hole in the earth. It's filled with plenty of ores, and Diamonds and Iron make up the majority of its resources.

Deep Dark Diamonds

Seed: -4947524413014130129

Delving into the cave near Spawn will lead you to a Deep Dark biome that has plenty of Diamonds within it and the surrounding Deepslate. Beneath the Deep Dark biome pictured above is a cluster of multiple veins of Diamond ore; there are a total of 19 Diamond ores in a small area. Using a Pickaxe enchanted with Fortune III just in this small area could give you over 150 Diamonds if it gives you four Diamonds from each ore.

Ancient Diamond Fossil

Seed: 3692424756995507755

This seed spawns you in a Forest biome near a Windswept Hills formation containing plenty of iron and coal. After gathering the resources here, you can craft iron mining tools and head into the nearby Swamp. Digging underground and passing through an underwater cave will bring you down to a beautiful fossil surrounded by diamond ore! What's more, extra diamonds are waiting to be uncovered in the nearby deepslate.

Diamond-Filled Swamp

Although you're faced with rough terrain when you spawn into this seed, you don't need to worry about wading through the swampy water to find the bountiful stash of diamonds deep underground. If you gather some iron and are feeling brave, you can find over 100 diamond ores within 40 blocks of spawn in the deepslate underground. We have listed some of the biggest veins in the list below, but you'll need to set up a decent strip mine to find the smaller veins. Still, if you expand your search through the deepslate to include everything within 60 blocks of spawn, you'll find hundreds more diamond ores!

Deepslate Dripstone Diamonds

This Dripstone Cave quickly drops towards deepslate, making it easy to get Diamonds as soon as you walk in. The best thing to do would be to quickly mine some of the Diamonds nearest the entrance and craft a Diamond Pickaxe. Put Fortune III on it and you'll be swimming in Diamonds!

The Diamonds of Deepslate Cavern

The dangers of this cave are emphasized by the giant lava pool and lava falls in its deepslate area. However, the risk of venturing inside became well worth the reward when I realized just how many Diamonds could be found! I easily found 75 Diamond ore veins grouped in sets as small as 4 and as large as 15. There were also plenty of Diamond ores lying around alone and in pairs, allowing you to easily get nearly 100 Diamonds even without the Fortune enchantment.

Dozens of Diamonds

Seed: 292420828901793163

The giant caverns near this Cherry Grove are filled with immeasurable treasures. Diamonds are scattered about in large ore veins, but there are also plenty of smaller veins to uncover by strip mining. One of the caverns contains a mineshaft that provides a variety of other treasures as well. It's a great Diamond seed if you want plenty, but want to explore gorgeous caves while you head toward them.

Lush Island Treasures

Seed: 7467210367911235978

This seed spawns you on a Jungle and Dark Forest island with a ravine leading to a Lush Cave. The Lush Cave can be used as the starting point for a diamond strip mine by digging a staircase down from the cave to Y-level 58. There are many single-diamond ores scattered about as well as plenty of redstone.

Lush Luxury

Seed: -5573409366528859310

This seed spawns you in a Jungle near a giant cavern leading to a Lush Cave! As you venture throughout the Lush Cave, which extends down to deepslate, you will come across pockets of both diamond and emerald ores. They are most commonly—no larger than three ores at once. However, after reaching deepslate and digging down a bit to Y-Level 58, you'll be able to find some larger ore veins made of four or more diamond ores!

Lush Coral Diamonds

Seed: -206561949

This seed serves both form and function, as it provides a beautiful Coral Reef and a Lush Cave near spawn and is abundant in diamond ore underneath them! Not including the smaller veins (anything less than four ores), you'll find over 50 diamond ores in the deepslate near Spawn. If you manage to get a Fortune III pick early, you could easily harvest over 100 diamonds within the first couple of Minecraft days!
