To get the ultimate Minecraft experience, I always try to locate the perfect seed to match my ideal build or playstyle. Each of the seeds on our best Minecraft 1.20 Bedrock seeds list was handpicked by me because of their stunning geography, resourcefulness, and overall fascinating world.

Rocky Mountain Range

This world starts players off in an Old Growth Pine biome with a looming mountain range not far to the north. It feels like a scene taken straight from the Pacific Northwest. A Lush Cave can be found beneath spawn, while a large cavern containing Dripstone and a Deep Dark biome can be found beyond the mountains. A Plains Village at the edge of a Cherry Grove can be found in the north as well.

Headstart Island

This island is two steps up from a basic survival island. It's got a Plains Village containing plenty of wheat and fenced-in animals, which is already a huge help when living on an island. It's made even more spectacular by all of the buried treasures that can be found on the island and in the surrounding waters! You'll be able to easily get some Iron Armor and other rare materials right from the start.

Wooded Badlands

This seed is defines dangerous beauty. The Wooded Badlands I spawned in are unimaginably beautiful, especially in contrast with the nearby Warm Ocean. However, beneath all of the beautiful scenery lies eight Ancient Cities. Plus, the Badland and Desert conglomeration ahead contains plenty of Desert Villages, Desert Temples, and two Pillager Outposts to explore. For an extra challenge, head to the northern Lukewarm Ocean and conquer its many Ocean Monuments.

Multi-Forest Start

Spawn is set in the area where a Dark Forest, Old Growth Birch Forest, Bamboo Jungle, and Sparse Jungle collide. Exploring the ravines and caverns within this area quickly reveals the Lush Cave that is hiding beneath it all. It's a gorgeous world that is filled with beautiful geography, from the intermingling of the forests to a Cherry Grove crater hiding a Dripstone Cave. It's a world of wonders that you won't regret exploring.

Archaeologist's Peninsula

With fossils only having a 1 in 64 chance of spawning, they are pretty hard to find in Minecraft. This seed spawns you on a gorgeous Desert peninsula containing not one, but two fossils! Spawn is set near a Desert Village, with a Savannah on the right to gather wood from. In addition to the two fossils, there are also Warm Ocean Ruins to excavate. Grab your pickaxe and brush and get ready to make history.

Snowy Slopes

This wintry paradise is on a whole other level compared to the other snowy seeds solely because of how many resources it contains. Spawn is set amidst Snowy Plains hills filled with three Snowy Plains Villages and five Igloos with basements. To the north is a Frozen Ocean filled with buried treasure as well as Snowy Slopes and Grove biomes. There is also a small Cherry Grove to the west, which contains a Pillager Outpost.

Pirate Coast

This world starts you off in a Sparse Jungle biome a couple hundred blocks away from most structures. While resources seem sparse, heading about 250 blocks to the west will send you to a coastal Stony Shore biome filled with lost treasures. There are about 15 buried treasure chests in the entirety of the coast—it is as if pirates buried their loot here and never returned, making it ripe for the taking!

Mountain of Riches

Spawn is set next to a mountain of Snowy Slopes and Jagged Peaks. You spawn facing a Cherry Grove biome with a Plains Village to your southeast. You can stop there to get supplies to take on the mountain. The mountain itself is full of resources—after just a quick fly-through, I found four amethyst geodes, plenty of ores, Dripstone and Deep Dark biomes, and an Ancient City. This mountain is perfect for those who want to live out the life of a battle-hardened dwarf.

Swamp with Pockets

This seed contains a giant Swamp biome filled with pockets of other biomes, including Plains, Sunflower Plains, Forests, Old Growth Birch Forests, and Beach biomes. The swamp itself contains multiple witch huts, while many villages lay on its outskirts. There is even a Zombified Savannah Village and a Pillager Outpost located within 600 blocks of the swamp's edges. The nearby oceans contain many Ocean Monuments, making this seed perfect for those willing to face danger and make their homes in or next to a swamp.

Fishermen Island

Players who wish to start a survival island challenge but want a quick head start need to look no further than this seed, which spawns you on a small island occupied by a Plains Village. Inside the village, you will find a ruined portal that leads you straight to the top of a Nether Fortress. The surrounding ocean region is not barren either, with tons of Ocean Monuments, shipwrecks, and Ruins for you to explore.

Cherry Crater Abode

This seed features a Plains Village situated at the heart of a large, Cherry Grove encircled crater, providing a truly picturesque location for you to have a calm building experience. However, adventurous thrill-seekers can easily find a Dripstone Cave behind the villages, and soon realize it opens up into a giant drop taking you straight to the depths of an Ancient City!

Icy Crater Mansion

Settlements inside a crater are always a pretty sight. However, not many craters can claim to house a Plains Village and a Woodland Mansion within its confines! I adore the way the village appears to seamlessly blend into the structure of the Woodland Mansion. With all of this at your disposal right at Spawn, you are guaranteed to have a good head start on your adventure with this seed.

The Lush Cave of Coral Lake

If an oasis biome existed in Minecraft, we believe it would look like this. You spawn in a Badlands/Desert biome, and a few dozen blocks away is a multi-layer exposed Lush Cave built into a Badlands Mountain Cliff overlooking a small (but beautiful) Coral Reef lake. Nearby, you'll find a significantly larger Coral Reef biome. Additionally, you'll find dozens of villages, Ocean Monuments, Desert Temples, and igloos east of Spawn.

Clashing Biomes

The Ultimate Beginner Island
