How to download and install Yippee Mod in Lethal Company

Lethal Company has many of its own scary monsters and hilarious sounds in the game (I still can't get over the ladder bonk). But the modding community is working hard to make playing the game an even better experience. To download the Yippee Mod, you first have to have r2modman installed. This is a mod manager that is tried and tested by the developer. Here are the steps to download it.

  • Click on the Manual Download button on Thunderstore.
  • Extract downloaded files.
  • Enter the folder and run r2modman Setup.exe.
  • Follow all of the steps in the r2modman installer.

Press on the 'Online' tab and then look up Yippee mod by sunnobunno. Press the download button, and the mod will now show up in your 'Installed' tab. You'll see that BepInEx Pack was installed, too. This is necessary for all Lethal Company mods to run properly.

Once you've installed everything, click on the Start modded button in the top left corner, and you can enjoy the chorus of happy yippees as the Hoarding bugs steal your loot.

What is the Lethal Company Yippee Mod

The Lethal Company Yippie mod changes the sounds the Hoarding bugs make, adding the yippee sound instead. I have had a feud with these bugs since the beginning, as they kept stealing scrap I wanted to steal, so I'm always annoyed when I see them.

However, this VFX mod has made it hilarious to encounter them in the dark hallways of the facility. I've even given them a bolt or two from my own hoard just because the sound makes them way cuter. They will still attack you if you steal scrap from their hoard, which is honestly even more hilarious.
